Dilnoza Duturaeva is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of History of the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences. Her research interests include Qarakhanid and Qara Khitai studies, Sino-Turkic relations in the pre-Mongol period, cross-cultural contacts between China and Central Asia. She received her PhD in History from the Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences in 2011. She conducted research at the University of Halle-Wittenberg (2008-2009), University of Wisconsin-Madison (2010), University of Nanjing (2012-2013) and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Sinology of the University of Bonn (2015-
